Mozart's final commission for Salzburg Cathedral before his humiliating dismissal by the Archbishop.  Three lively psalm settings, followed by two more reflective and contrapuntal psalm settings, concluding with an exultant setting of the Magnificat.

Haydn Missa Sancti Nicolai
Mass written in 1772 and revised 30 years later at the end of Haydn’s composing career. This included the addition of timpani and trumpets to heighten the dramatic effect.
